LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 25, 2025) — The third annual United We Shop vendor fair, which is a partnership between University of Kentucky students enrolled in the College of Communication and Information’s Department of Integrated Strategic Communication event planning class and United Talent and United Events, is expecting more than 30 vendors.

The event will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at United Talent, 101 Kaden Lane in Georgetown, Kentucky. This vendor fair allows small businesses to connect with the community through in-person engagement and frequent promotion.

In addition to a variety of local vendors, the event will feature unique items for sale and family-friendly activities. Vendor booths will be set up around the indoor concourse, allowing guests to shop and enjoy the event.

There are 30 confirmed vendors so far, and it is expected to grow. These local businesses will be present to showcase their Kentucky-made products and services.

Vendors include:

●      Sheena Fawn Desserts - Georgetown

●      Craft Queens - Winchester

●      Yayabs Dog Boutique - Lexington

●      Linx & Bloom with Phillene - Georgetown

●      Sharkbait Designs - Richmond

●      Creation Oasis - Georgetown

●      Artistic Designs by Dana - Lexington

In addition, guests can get a meal at the food truck Fully Loaded, which offers a wide selection of burgers, fries and wings.

“The purpose of this partnership and growing annual event is to invest in our future leaders by providing them with hands-on experience while also creating a valuable platform for area businesses,” said Brian Harris, owner of United Events. “We aim to raise awareness about these Kentucky vendors, boost their success and drive economic growth for both the businesses and our community.”

“United We Shop”  is free and open to the public.
