UK Design to Engage Campus Community With Pop-up Park
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 26, 2018) — Students from University of Kentucky College of Design will unveil their student community engagement project titled Urban Design 859 this weekend. The public is invited to check out the ideas for the site at a pop-up park from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the corner of E. Maxwell and S. Limestone.
As part of this celebration visitors can enjoy free coffee and donuts, music and yard games alongside the students’ installations. The group will also collect feedback on their design concepts. Visitors are encouraged to share a picture of the projects on social media tagged #design859 to be entered into raffle.
This event is free and open to the public.
