Flip It Forward for KCH Patients on Free Pancake Day
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 4, 2019) – IHOP Restaurant will host its 14th annual IHOP Free Pancake Day – Flip It Forward for Kids event from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 12. IHOP restaurants across America will serve guests a FREE short stack of its world-famous buttermilk pancakes while collecting donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Visit your local IHOP on March 12, join in the celebration, leave a donation of any size on-check or in-restaurant for Children’s Miracle Network, and tell family and friends about IHOP Free Pancake Day. All of the funds raised in Lexington, Richmond and Bowling Green during the IHOP Free Pancake Day campaign go toward to improving the lives of children being treated at Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
To kick off fundraising efforts early, guests visiting any IHOP restaurant in between now and March 12, 2019, can help reach IHOP’s fundraising goal of $4 million by purchasing a “CMN Balloon Icon” wall tag to publicly pledge support or donate on check. Guests who purchase a $5 wall tag will receive a coupon for $5 off of $10 purchase for their next visit at IHOP.
There is a limit of one free short stack per guest, and the offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only while supplies last, and is not valid with any other offer, special, coupon or discount.
Want to do more? Sign up to volunteer at IHOP on Free Pancake Day. Your role will be to let guests know how important the funds they donate are in helping treat children who visit KCH. We’ll give you plenty of coaching and the best part in volunteering is no dish duty!
Also support the IHOP Kid Chef competition! The 2019 winning kid-created pancake will be sold in restaurants through April 14. One dollar of every sale of the kid-created pancake will go to CMNH.
