LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 7, 2011) The Legacy Council of the Markey Cancer Foundation, a group of young professionals interested in supporting their community through philanthropy, is teaming up with Keeneland to host a concert on Friday, April 29.

The “Concert on the Lawn” will feature live music from the Spazmatics, a popular '80s cover band. The concert begins at 7:15 p.m. on Keeneland’s Clubhouse Lawn.

“We are excited to kick off our first event during Keeneland's 75th anniversary, but we want this to be a fun occasion that continues for years to come,” said Bret Jones, Airdrie Stud’s bloodstock services manager and Legacy Council member. “The goal is to raise awareness and support for the Markey Cancer Center, and we are so grateful to have Keeneland as a partner in this mission.”
