LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 3, 2011) − Arturo Alonzo Sandoval, the Alumni Endowed Professor of Art at the University of Kentucky Department of Art, will moderate a panel discussion presented in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft. The event, which features founders of the organization, will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, located in downtown Louisville, Ky., at 715 West Main St.

Sandoval, an internationally recognized artist, will serve as moderator. The event will also feature a champagne toast in honor of the Shands' 2010 Governor’s Awards in the Arts. This event is free for museum members and $5 for non-members.
