Horticulture Club Has Holiday Sale
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 10, 2013) ― Need some help with the plant lovers on your holiday gift list? Or are you looking for holiday decorations that are not artificial?
The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment's Horticulture Club Holiday Sale could be just what you're looking for. The club is offering a wide selection of home-grown and hand-crafted gift ideas including:
- Holiday Wreaths - $25
- Swags - $15-20
- Mistletoe bunches $5 and under
- Terrariums - succulent, woodland, and bog types mostly $8-20
- Tropical Houseplants - $5
- Poinsettias - Red, White, & Jingle Bells are $12. Blue is $15.
The Horticulture Club Holiday Sale items will be available from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, through Friday, Dec. 13, at the Ag Deli on the first floor of the Agricultural Science Center North, and Tuesday, Dec. 17, through Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Big Blue Deli on the third floor of Kentucky Clinic/College of Nursing Building. Purchases can be made by cash or check only.
