Win Madness Tickets While Showcasing UK in Facebook Photo Contest

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 1, 2012) — Have you taken a great photo related to the University of Kentucky? Maybe you have a shot of a favorite place on campus, or of you and your friends showing Big Blue Nation pride. If so, share it on the UK Facebook page for a chance to see your picture become the university's cover photo, and a chance to win tickets to Big Blue Madness.

Entering the contest is simple. Pick your favorite UK-related photo, and submit it by posting it to the UK Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/universityofky. The UK Office of Public Relations and Marketing will sort through the photos, and show them to faculty in the College of Fine Arts, who will pick an artistic winner. A popular choice winner will be determined by the number of likes and shares each photo receives — so be sure to share your photo with all of your Facebook friends.

Winning photos will spend some time at the top of the UK Facebook page, and the submitters of winning photos will each receive a set of two tickets to Big Blue Madness. Be sure photos are high resolution (not too small or pixelated), and that you have the rights to the photo you submit (no work copyrighted by someone else).

Photos may be submitted until midnight, Sunday, Oct. 7. May the best pictures win!
