Blood Center Urges Wildcat Fans to 'Bleed Blue'

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 21, 2012) − Throughout  the month of March, the Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) invites all donors to be part of the "Madness" and receive a Bleed Blue in the Bayou T-Shirt after donating blood.

"Like all University of Kentucky fans, KBC hopes the Wildcats will go all the way to the NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four in New Orleans," said Martha Osborne, executive director of Marketing and Recruitment. "We know many of our donors are excited about the Cats in March and we are, too. But we can’t forget our mission of providing life-saving blood products to Kentucky patients who need transfusions. We hope our special Bleed Blue T-shirts will encourage donors to come see us – then they can wear their shirts to support the Cats.”
