LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 22, 2019) — For University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy Dean Kip Guy, the decision to serve in a leadership role at UK came easy.
As someone who focused on research surrounding health disparities, the Commonwealth provided a perfect place to work with other like-minded colleagues in an effort to help improve health outcomes for those in Appalachia – and in turn, around the world.
But now his scope extends beyond the lab, as he leads the nationally-ranked College of Pharmacy, which, in addition to conducting groundbreaking research, provides innovative education and delivers cutting-edge clinical practice for students.
