College of Arts and Sciences' Podcast Features Alan Fryar

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 6, 2012) — The College of Arts and Sciences produces podcasts that demonstrate work being done by the faculty and students in the college. Each week, UKNow will highlight a podcast.

This week focuses on Alan Fryar, a hydrogeologist and a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Fryar explains the relationships between Kentucky limestone, ground water systems and one of Kentucky's most famous traditions —bourbon.
