College of Arts and Sciences' Podcast Features John Kamm

LEXINGTON, Ky., (Feb. 13, 2012) — The College of Arts and Sciences produces podcasts that demonstrate work being done by the faculty and students in the college. Each week, UKNow will highlight a podcast. This week focuses on John Kamm, a visiting scholar for the A&S Year of China initiative.

Kamm, who presented the talk, "US/China Relations in the Year of the Dragon," is an American businessman and human rights activist. He has received a MacArthur fellowship for “designing and implementing an original approach to freeing prisoners of conscience in China.”

In this podcast, Denise Ho, an assistant professor in the Department of History, interviews Kamm about the function of the Dui Hua Foundation and its work in a global context.
