Construction on Sorority House Will Cause Temporary Lane Closures Oct. 10

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 9, 2018) — On Wednesday, Oct.10, the Tri-Delta (Delta Delta Delta) sorority house will have precast panels delivered blocking traffic from passing through Columbia Terrace past the house. The closure will take place from approximately 8 a.m.-1 p.m., but will re-open earlier if construction is completed sooner.

During the construction, there will be a flag person allowing two-way traffic on Columbia Terrace from the corner of Columbia Avenue and Columbia Terrace to the rear entrance of the Tri- Delta House off of Columbia Terrace, so to not impede those who are parked in this area from exiting.

The temporary sidewalk installed between the Tri-Delta and Chi Omega houses will also be closed during the construction for pedestrian safety. This will re-open when installation is completed.
