Construction to Temporarily Impact Columbia Avenue East Lot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 21, 2017) — Beginning Monday, July 24, the Columbia Avenue East Lot on the University of Kentucky campus will be temporarily impacted by a construction project designed to reconfigure the lot; the reconfiguration is expected to result in an increase of 20 parking spaces.

During construction, the lot will only be accessible via a temporary entrance located to the left of the current lot entrance, and approximately 12 spaces will be unavailable.

The work will also temporarily impact the access to the W.T. Young Library loading dock. During this time, access to the loading dock will be available through the Columbia Avenue West Lot.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, Aug. 22.
