Deadline Extended for Sarah Bennett Holmes Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 19, 2013) — The deadline for nominations for the 2013 Sarah Bennett Holmes Awards has been extended to Feb. 22. Nomination forms are available at http://www.uky.edu/womensforum/nominate.html.

Created by the UK Women’s Forum, the Sarah Bennett Holmes Awards have been among the most esteemed recognitions bestowed at the University of Kentucky. The award recognizes two female UK employees, one faculty member and one staff member, for their contributions to issues that affect women at UK and across the Commonwealth. All nominees will be recognized during the annual Sarah Bennett Holmes Awards luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Frank Harris Grand Ballroom of the Student Center. Luncheon reservations are open until Friday, March 1.
