K-Lots, Evening Areas Resume Control Jan. 16

LEXINGTON, Ky (Jan. 11, 2013) ― Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 16, valid parking permits will be required to park in the K areas surrounding Commonwealth Stadium, as well as all evening-controlled parking areas says University of Kentucky Parking and Transportation Services. Additionally, C, R, K, or Evening permits are valid in most Employee (E) and Commuter (C) lots after 3:30 p.m. PTS asks that drivers observe the permit control sign at the entrance to parking lots to make certain of the hours the lot is controlled for permits.

UK and BCTC students still needing K and evening permits for the 2013 spring semester may apply in person at Parking Structure #6, located at the corner of Press and Virginia Avenues.

This is Parking and Transportation Services’ main office location, and it now has new hours. Changes include reducing late-night office hours and eliminating Sunday office hours. The new hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The office was previously open until 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
