South Campus Without Power Part of Wednesday Evening

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 28, 2013) —  Power was restored to South Campus at the University of Kentucky around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, after a power failure occured in several residence halls for about an hour.

Physical Plant and Facilities crews worked to restore power to Blanding and Kirwan Towers and Complex as well as Ingels, Smith, and Baldwin Halls.  Back-up generator power was in use.  There were no injuries reported.
