Take advantage of free transportation-related services

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 21, 2023)  University of Kentucky Transportation Services does more than manage parking on campus. The department offers a wide range of services, some of which may surprise you!

Below is a quick recap of some of the resources available to all UK Wildcats:

·       Free campus buses: No need to show your ID on campus. Just hop aboard! www.uky.edu/transportation/buses

·       Free city-wide transit: Our partnership with the Lexington Transit Authority (Lextran) means that you can ride for free, city-wide. www.uky.edu/transportation/bus/free-city-transit

·       Free late-night transportation: Our on-demand shuttle runs from midnight to 5 a.m. weekdays. www.uky.edu/transportation/bus/latenighttransportation

·       Free commute planning: Let our experts help you determine your most efficient commute, whether it’s by car, bus, or bike! www.uky.edu/transportation/commuteplanning

·       Free & Discounted Motorist Assistance Services: Our department provides free on-campus battery jumpstarts for all permit holders, plus other discounted motorist services. www.uky.edu/transportation/park/motorist-assistance
