UK Day at Kings Island

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 27, 2011)  — The University of Kentucky Alumni Association invites all association members, students, faculty, staff and fans of UK for a thrilling day of chills and spills during the association’s annual UK Day at Kings Island on Saturday, June 25. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the park, located in Mason, Ohio.

Discounted park admission tickets for this special day are $21.99, a savings of more than 50 percent off regular admission price.

See Blue and show your UK pride at this fun family event.  Wear your favorite UK T-shirt for a chance to win a random prize in the park.

Also, UK alumni, students, faculty, staff and fans can partake in an all-you-can-eat lunch. Pre-purchase your tickets by June 10 for the UK Picnic at the Kings Island Picnic Grove. Feast on a buffet of barbeque pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, sides, ice cream treats and fountain soda. There will be fun games, fabulous prizes, goodies, giveaways and special appearances from favorite characters.

Discounted tickets are available only through the website or by calling 1-513-754-5700. Children under 3 years of age receive free park admission and do not need a ticket.  Junior/senior picnic tickets are available for children ages 3-6 and adults 62 and older.
