UK Education Deemed Strong Investment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 29, 2010) − In hard financial times, many parents and college-age students are questioning the value of a college education. A report on CNN this morning cited the University of Kentucky as a good example of how well a state public institution pays off.

According to a news report by Christine Romans on CNN's "American Morning," which cited a study by PayScale.com, UK graduates earn a 10.2 percent annual return on their college investment.
