UK Offers Incentives to Faculty, Staff for Football Ticket Renewals by March 31
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Mar. 28, 2017) — On the heels of a return to postseason play in the TaxSlayer Bowl and the signing of another highly touted recruiting class, excitement is running high for Kentucky football. It won’t be long before the Wildcats are back in action this fall in Commonwealth Stadium.
2017 Kentucky football season tickets are now available and full-time faculty and staff may purchase tickets at a discounted rate. Regular, full-time faculty and staff are eligible for a 20-percent discount on up to two season tickets, priced $310 and higher for the general public. Additionally, staff may receive a 50-percent discount on the per-seat K Fund donation on up to two season tickets, if applicable. K Fund discounts are not valid in premium seating areas, including suites, loge boxes and club levels and only apply at the $525 per seat donation level and below.
UK Athletics has worked hard to maintain a variety of pricing options throughout the stadium. Season tickets throughout the seating bowl for UK’s seven-game home schedule will be available for $248 apiece with your faculty/staff discount, compared with $310 for the general public. K Fund donations for the 2017 season will remain unchanged for the upcoming year. The majority of seats in the 200-level will again have no K Fund donation attached. UK faculty and staff are encouraged to visit UKFootballTix.com and use the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to review and compare available seat locations. The interactive system allows fans to see a 360-degree virtual view from the seats in Commonwealth Stadium. After reviewing options, faculty and staff should call the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287 to receive the discounted price on tickets, rather than buying the tickets online. Fans are also encouraged to take advantage of no-interest payment plan options, which allows fans to pay for season tickets in monthly installments.
Once again for the 2017 season, the earlier you renew or purchase new season tickets, the more exclusive incentives you will receive through Kentucky’s early renewal incentives program. Those who renew or purchase by March 31 will receive:
- An invitation to a 2017 Kentucky football facility tour
- Five (5) bonus K Fund priority points
- The opportunity to receive “Season Ticket Surprises”
- The ability to renew through a three-month, no-interest payment plan
The earlier fans renew or purchase new season tickets, the more opportunities you’ll have to receive 2017 “Season Ticket Surprises.” This year’s surprise incentives include access to Blue-White Spring Game club tickets, autographed Kentucky football memorabilia and access to complimentary ticket offers to select home and away football games. Season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to order additional single-game tickets at exclusive prices in advance of the general public and have their account name included on the Kentucky Farm Bureau “Wall of Commitment” inside Commonwealth Stadium, in addition to other benefits.
