UK Purchasing Division Awards Printing Contracts, Plans Printers’ Fair

LEXINGTON, Ky (Sept. 27, 2012) — The University of Kentucky Purchasing Division has awarded new contracts for commercial printing services and is organizing a Printers' Fair to acquaint the campus with the vendors' services.

Three new contracts have been awarded for the University’s stationery needs, and 11 separate contracts have been awarded for full-service (i.e., non-stationery) printing needs. The contracts are effective for up to five years beginning Oct. 1. They resulted from competitive bid processes taking place over the past several months.

In conjunction with the awards, a Printers’ Fair is planned showcasing the goods and services offered by the new vendors. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the Small Ballroom of the UK Student Center.
