Under Review: Physics of an Anthony-Davis-Blocked Shot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 27, 2012) - The NBA draft is Thursday night, and Big Blue Nation will tune in to watch Anthony Davis' projected No. 1 selection. Davis' role throughout the monumental season clearly exemplifies the high standards of UK Athletics; however, physics professor Brad Plaster demonstrates how Davis' skills also provide an academic opportunity: to showcase the physics behind a blocked shot.
