Woodland Avenue Lot Now Employee Parking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 10, 2017) — Effective immediately, University of Kentucky Transportation Services has changed the Woodland Avenue Lot, previously an on-campus residential (R10) parking lot, to employee parking. The lot has 109 spaces. This is part of the rollout of the 2017-2018 permit options that Transportation Services announced in early April.

This change will give employees who park and work in central campus another option for employee permit parking. Beginning on July 1, this will function as an intermediate employee lot.

As an intermediate lot, the Woodland Avenue Lot will function after 3:30 p.m. as a typical evening-controlled lot. This means that any valid permit may be used in the lot after 3:30 p.m. Permits will not be required after 7:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday, after 3:30 p.m. on Friday and anytime on the weekend, which will provide another convenient option for students and campus guests visiting William T. Young Library, The 90 or the central campus residence halls during evening and weekend hours.
