Career Fair to Impact North Campus Parking, Feb. 14-15

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2012) — The top floor of University of Kentucky Parking Structure #5, located on South Limestone next to Kennedy Book Store, will be unavailable to general parking from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both Tuesday, Feb. 14 and Wednesday, Feb. 15, due to the Employer Showcase event being held at the Student Center. The floor consists of 139 parking spaces.

If the structure is full, Parking and Transportation Services says employees with valid permits may park in another E lot. Students with C5 permits may park in the E/C7 parking lot (located adjacent to Taylor and Dickey Halls and off Scott Street) or the E lot located behind the Craft Center.

The Stuckert Career Center parking lot will also be blocked from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16.

During all three days, employees and students should plan accordingly and allow extra time in arriving to work or class.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
