Discuss Internship, Career Opportunities with State Department Rep

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 7, 2016) — On Wednesday, Sept. 7, Michael McClellan, a representative from the U.S. State Department, will offer information sessions focused on internships, fellowships and other career opportunities with the U.S. State Department (DOS). His visit is hosted by the University of Kentucky James W. Stuckert Career Center.

Currently serving as diplomat-in-residence at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, McClellan will host two information sessions and some limited office hours. He said he hopes to make multiple trips to UK this academic year.

McClellan’s schedule on Wednesday is:

  • 11-11:50 a.m. – Information Session on Internships with DOS (Stuckert Career Center room 101/103);
  • noon-12:50 p.m. – Information Session on Fellowships with DOS (Stuckert Career Center room 101/103); and 
  • 2:15-3:15 p.m. – office hours at the Stuckert Center (Stuckert Career Center room 203).
