UK Arts Administration Webinar Explores Ways Audiences Help Drive Digital Content

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 16, 2015) — Following this summer’s “Executive Workshop Series: Best Practices in Social Media,” the University of Kentucky Arts Administration Program will continue its professional development offerings for arts and nonprofit administrators with a free webinar “Look Who’s Talking: Encouraging Your Audience to Drive Digital Content.” The webinar will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18.

"Look Who's Talking" is free, but registration is required. Individuals wanting to participate should visit: www.eventbrite.com/e/look-whos-talking-encouraging-your-audience-to-drive-digital-content-tickets-19514307820.

As part of the webinar, participants will discover how nonprofit organizations are building powerful content campaigns with the help of their own patrons, donors and beneficiaries through pictures, videos, testimonials and more. UK Arts Administration faculty will refer to real-world examples to help participants generate new ideas for getting stakeholders to engage through social media. Participants will learn how to solicit, gather, implement and harness the power of a collective voice through user-generated content.

UK's Arts Administration Program, in the UK College of Fine Arts, is designed to prepare students for a future in the management of arts organizations. Students are provided with a strong liberal arts education, an understanding of the business world, and a comprehensive education in one of the four arts disciplines of art, music, dance and theatre.
