UK's 11th President, Lee T. Todd, Jr., Says 'Farewell' But Not 'Goodbye'

A message from President Lee T. Todd, Jr.:

Included in this message is a short video I recorded to express my sincere gratitude to you for the role you have played in our institution’s success during the past 10 years. My tenure as your President has been the job of a lifetime and the most humbling privilege. I think it will only be after I leave this position that my family and I will truly feel and understand its impact on and importance to us.

As I leave office, I find comfort in knowing that this is not a goodbye because the impact of our efforts extends beyond our campus borders and throughout Kentucky. Our faculty and staff are the foundation of progress and purpose, the legacy of which will endure and be felt for years to come at UK and for our Commonwealth.

Thank you for your counsel in difficult times, your compassion and friendship, and, most of all, your devotion to our higher purpose.
