WUKY's 'UK Perspectives' Features Poet and UK Professor Julia Johnson

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 14, 2012) — WUKY's "UK Perspectives" focuses on the people and programs of the University of Kentucky and is hosted by WUKY General Manager Tom Godell.  Guest host for today's program is Julie Wrinn, director of the Kentucky Women Writers Conference, which will take place in Lexington Sept. 20-23.

Wrinn interviews poet and UK Professor Julia Johnson, who will lead a session devoted to ekphrastic poetry, or poems inspired by works of art, at the Women Writers Conference.
