SAB and WRFL Bring Showcase of DJs
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 27, 2012) — The Student Activities Board and WRFL invite students to Club Wildcat, a showcase of several local DJs, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the Student Center Grand Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public.
The music will range from dubstep to electro house and will be presented by five rounds of DJs headlined by The Chaotic Good and featuring local DJs such as Modern Bandits; Delimiter and Ninja Lowe; and DJ Sterlize. The acts will take the stage in five one-hour increments beginning at 8 p.m. through 1 a.m. The Chaotic Good is rated as one of the top 10 electronic remix artists by Paste Magazine. The Chaotic Good has independently headlined two national tours and more than 100 shows in 2011 alone.
“SAB is extremely excited to collaborate with WRFL on Club Wildcat,” said Gigi Goble, director of pop culture for SAB. “We want this to be an energetic atmosphere for students to have fun and enjoy themselves.”
The Student Activities Board brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
