UK Alumni Welcome Fans to New Orleans
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 8, 2012) -- The UK Alumni Association invites alumni and friends to attend a pre-game gathering for the University of Kentucky men’s basketball SEC Tournament game on Friday, March 9, beginning at 9 a.m. CST. The gathering will take place on the top floor of Walk-On’s (1009 Poydras St., New Orleans, LA) in the Roux House area, located approximately 1/2 mile from the New Orleans Arena.
Cost to attend is $10 per attendee and will be taken at the door. The $10 entry fee will be credited to each attendee in the form of drink purchases. Children under 12 will be admitted free to the event.
At the event, alumni and fans will enjoy:
- UK giveaways
- Appearance by the UK band and cheerleaders
- Merchandise available for purchase from Fan Outfitters
- Kentucky Sports Radio broadcast
