7 Steps to Help You Prep for the Fall 2021 Campus Career Fairs
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2021) — The Office for Student Success is excited to share that, next week, the Stuckert Career Center, in collaboration with Engineering Career and Co-op Office and the Graham Career Management Office in the Gatton College of Business and Economics, will host the fall semester career fairs.
These are wonderful opportunities for students to connect with more than 150 employers, and all students, no matter where they are in their college career, are encouraged to participate in the career fairs.
Here are seven things you can do to help you prepare for the career fairs:
1. Update and upload resume to your Handshake account.
2. Make your Handshake account profile public.
3. Attend a virtual career fair prep workshop.
6. Connect with recruiters on LinkedIn.
7. Develop/practice your elevator pitch.
