UK Women’s Forum opens call for proposals for annual conference
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 11, 2023) — The University of Kentucky Women’s Forum is accepting proposals for its annual conference presentations which will be held in person on Dec. 13, 2023, at the Gatton Student Center. The theme this year will be “A New Era of You.”
The event will be held over one day and cost $10 during early registration (Oct. 2-14) and $15 following regular registration (Oct. 15-Nov.10).
Call for Proposals
The Women’s Forum Annual Conference is an opportunity to build your professional and personal skills and better inform the community about the Women’s Forum mission, goals and general membership. The conference welcomes speakers on mental health, burnout, authenticity and creating the best version of yourself.
Proposals for workshops will be accepted until 1 p.m. Sept. 15, 2023, through the online submission form.
Submitted session proposals are carefully reviewed by members of the Special Events Committee. The committee may ask submitters to provide additional documentation for further clarification. Presentations must not have a commercial message or sales pitch. Notification of the selection decision will be made by Oct. 13, 2023.
