OneUK partners Fischer Homes and Valvoline Global to visit campus for Career Builder Days

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 6, 2024) — Fischer Homes and Valvoline Global, in partnership with OneUK, are set to visit the University of Kentucky campus this month for two Career Builder Days. These events will offer students, faculty and staff a unique opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders who are deeply committed to innovation, community development and career growth.

Fischer Homes, Kentucky’s largest homebuilder, will visit campus on Sept. 11. Their Career Builder Day will include an informational session from 4-4:45 p.m., followed by a networking reception from 4:45-5:30 p.m. at the Stuckert Career Center. Guests may RSVP for the reception via Qualtrics.

Valvoline Global, a worldwide leader in innovative automotive and industrial solutions, will host its Career Builder Day on Sept 17. During the visit, they will host a networking reception from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the atrium of the Jacobs Science Building. Guests may RSVP for the reception via Qualtrics.

Refreshments will be provided at both events, which are open to all members of the UK community.

These visits aim to deepen understanding of the career paths and development opportunities available within these companies while also strengthening the collaboration between UK and its OneUK strategic partners.
