UK to offer campus housing benefit for dependents of employees
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 17, 2025) — At the University of Kentucky, the people are who make the campus community extraordinary. UK Campus Housing is offering a special benefit that extends to UK employee families through the Family Education Program (FEP).
Dependents of regular, full-time employees (as defined by HR policy), who have been admitted to UK as first-year or transfer students, now qualify for priority consideration for campus housing. This means they can receive early access to Room Selection in the UK Campus Housing portal.
How to receive the benefit:
- Apply and be admitted to the University of Kentucky for Fall 2026 as first-year or transfer student.
- Ask your UK employee to complete this form by May 1, 2026, to indicate interest in the FEP campus housing benefit.
- Submit your 2026-27 UK Campus Housing and Dining application and contract as soon as possible.
- Check both your UKY and personal email accounts regularly for the next steps in Room Selection.
- Confirm your attendance to UK by May 1, 2026, to keep your early Room Selection access active.
