Waller Avenue to temporarily close at railroad crossing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 17, 2026) — Waller Avenue will be closed at the railroad crossing the entire day, each day from Monday, April 20 through Saturday, April 25.
Local traffic will be allowed on Waller Avenue to reach businesses and homes. Drivers will not be able to pass the railroad crossing.
Drivers can use Virginia Avenue to travel between South Limestone and South Broadway. Follow signage in the area for detours. Expect heavier traffic on Virginia Avenue during the closure.
