Unwind and Relax During a Night of Studying
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 3, 2015) —The Student Activities Board's Campus Life Committee continues its Massage on the Go event series this semester with the first event from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, in The Hub of the William T. Young Library.
Students have the opportunity to receive a free five-minute massage, talk to members of the Student Activities Board and find out more information about upcoming events. Therapists from the Lexington Healing Arts Academy are certified and trained to give students an effective massage that is sure to relieve stress.
“Even though it is the beginning of the semester, being a student of any major or year can bring stress to someone’s life,” Abbey Tillman, SAB director of campus life, said. “It is never too early to alleviate stressors and receive a free massage.”
There are three more dates, March 10, April 2 and May 4, included in the Massage on the Go event series for the spring semester so students have multiple opportunities to attend. All three events will also be from 6 to 9 p.m. in The Hub of the William T. Young Library.
SAB brings more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff, and the greater Lexington community.
