UK Volleyball Hosts NCAA Sweet 16
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 6, 2017) — Fresh off exciting victories in the first two rounds of the 2017 NCAA Volleyball Championships last weekend, the University of Kentucky Wildcats are back in Memorial Coliseum this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 8-9, to host the regional semifinals and regional final.
Students, faculty, staff and the greater community are encouraged to show your support for the UK team as it takes on Brigham Young University this Friday at noon. The Wildcats are one of only 16 teams remaining in the chase for the 2017 national championship.
The second match on Friday is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. and features the University of Nebraska against the University of Colorado. The winners of Friday afternoon’s contests will meet 4 p.m. Saturday, in Memorial Coliseum, for the right to advance to the national semifinals Dec. 14, in Kansas City.
Full-time University of Kentucky students may show their valid UK student ID at the Joe Craft Center ticket office on match day for a free ticket, paid for by UK Athletics. Tickets will only be provided for the sessions in which Kentucky participates.
All-session tickets are now on sale, exclusively online through My UK Athletics Account. Prices range from $9 to $15, with children under 5 admitted free of charge.
Single-session tickets will go on sale, exclusively online through My UK Athletics Account, 9 a.m. ET Wednesday, Dec. 6, based on availability. Prices range from $6 to $9.
