2011 Graduates Invited to Grad Salute

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 24, 2011) — The University of Kentucky Alumni Association invites all 2011 graduates of the university to take part in Grad Salute, March 1-4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the King Alumni House.

Grad Salute is the perfect opportunity for graduates to finalize all their Commencement needs in one stop. During Grad Salute, graduates will be able to:

• Get measured for and purchase an official custom cap, gown and tassel.
• Verify there are no stops or holds on graduation records.
• Obtain career advice and discuss employment opportunities.
• Have senior portraits taken for the Kentuckian yearbook and reserve a copy of
the 2011 edition.
• Order an official UK class ring.
• Purchase a UK diploma frame.
• Order official personalized graduation announcements.
• Support a Big Blue tradition with a gift to the UK Senior Class gift fund.
• Sign up to become a member of the UK Alumni Association at a special rate for
new grads.
