Hannah Ellis to Kick Off SAB Spring Concert Series
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2012) – Enjoy your dinner at Blazer Café and a little country music on the side courtesy of University of Kentucky senior Hannah Ellis. She will perform the first of the Spring Concert Series 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Blazer Café. This event is free and sponsored by the Student Activities Board.
With a smile that can light up the room, a charming personality and amazing vocals, singer-songwriter Hannah Ellis appeals to fans of all ages. Ellis starting singing at an early age and a love for music encouraged her to pursue her talent. From the time of middle school and high school, Ellis was performing at many shows around the region.
Ellis's latest album, "A Little Bit Bad," features songs that tell her story as a writer, artist and entertainer.
“I’m really excited to kick off the first Spring Concert Series of the semester with a little country music," Seth Murphy, SAB director of concerts, said. "Last semester we didn’t feature this genre so this will be a good addition to the series.”
