SAB Encourages Students’ Opinions

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2012) — Fill in the blank, bubble in an answer or circle a choice — the Student Activities Board needs student opinions in the bi-annual, all-student survey.

Beginning today, students are encouraged to click on the link in the email being sent to all students or visit SAB's website at www.uksab.org and complete the survey. The survey will be available until Wednesday, Oct. 17. Students who complete the survey will be entered in a random drawing for a pair of Brantley Gilbert tickets for the fall concert or a new iPod. Only full-time UK students are eligible for the drawing. The winner will be notified via email.

“The survey provides SAB with valuable information that we use in the planning of all of the events we provide for students,” said Weston Dicken, director of market research for SAB.

Student opinions are an integral part SAB’s research in determining the events for each semester. The survey reflects a diverse group of students and allows these opinions to be represented.  The survey also displays artists, events and programs so that the greatest number of students can have an opportunity to explore the ones that interest them.

The Student Activities Board presents more than 100 entertaining, educational and enriching programs that are reflective of contemporary issues and trends to the University of Kentucky annually. These programs are designed to enhance the college experience for students, faculty, staff and the greater Lexington community.
