Transportation Services Now Accepting Reservations for Free Spring Break Airport Shuttle

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 26, 2018) — Spring semester is in full swing. With preparations for midterms underway and Spring Break on the horizon, most students have long to-do lists. University of Kentucky Transportation Services is helping to ease students’ minds and simplify that list by way of a complimentary shuttle service from campus to Blue Grass Airport prior to the break.

The shuttle will operate Thursday, March 8, and Friday, March 9, with daily campus pickup times of 6 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Students should plan to leave campus at least two hours prior to takeoff.

Although the airport shuttle is free, reservations are required. To schedule a pickup, students should submit a ride request through the form found here: www.uky.edu/transportation/buses-and-shuttles_seasonal-shuttles_airport-shuttles. Ride requests must be submitted at least two business days in advance of departure.

A Transportation Services representative will follow up to confirm pickup details. Students are responsible for their own transportation back to campus.
