Wildcat Finale: UK’s Official Graduation Party
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 27, 2011) -- The University of Kentucky will host its first official campuswide graduation party this weekend.
Graduating UK seniors and graduate students won’t want to miss Wildcat Finale Friday, April 29, at Commonwealth Stadium. The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Concourse. Students should enter Commonwealth Stadium through Gates 4 or 9.
Wildcat Finale is the perfect event for seniors to say farewell to the university and their undergraduate experience and to gather one last time before officially becoming UK alumni.
“We hope this event will grow into a memorable tradition and something that all students look forward to when they graduate,” said Meg Phillips, program coordinator for the Alumni Association.
Hosted by the UK Alumni Association and the Student Government Association, Wildcat Finale will feature free food and drinks, music, T-shirts, door prizes and more. A special surprise guest will be in the end zone for a Big Blue farewell.
