PHSSR Keeneland Conference Registration Open Through March 7
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 1, 2013) — Registration is in open through March 7 for the 2013 Keeneland Conference on Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR), to be held April 8-11 in Lexington, Ky.
This is the sixth annual Keeneland Conference organized by the National Coordinating Center for PHSSR. This year’s agenda is packed with informative sessions, including an update on issues to watch in D.C., and prominent keynote speakers, as well as invaluable networking and information-sharing opportunities.
Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Paul Kuehnert, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation senior program officer and team director for the Public Health team.
- William Roper, dean of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine; CEO, UNC Health Care.
- Joe Selby, executive director, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research and the Public Health Practice-Based Research Networks National Coordinating Center, both housed at the University of Kentucky, collaborate to explore the impact of specific public health strategies on the quality and performance of the United States public health system.
