Join the UK Family at King's Island
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 9, 2011) -- The deadline has been extended to June 17 to buy tickets to UK Picnic at King's Island, an old fashioned all-you-can-eat picnic buffet highlighting the wildly popular annual UK Day at King’s Island.
The University of Kentucky Alumni Association invites all association members, students, faculty, staff and fans of UK to this day of food and fun at the regional theme park from10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.
Discounted park admission tickets for this special day can be purchased online until June 24 at the special reduced cost of $21.99, a savings of more than 50 percent off regular admission price. You have until June 17 to buy tickets online if you want to indulge at the picnic with like-minded UK fans. The fortunate ones will dine on barbeque pork sandwiches, chicken tenders, sides, ice cream treats and fountain soda. There also will be games, prizes, goodies, giveaways and special appearances from favorite characters in the King’s Island Picnic Grove.

Children under 3 years of age receive free park admission and do not need a ticket. Junior/senior picnic tickets are available for children ages 3-6 and adults 62 and older.
