"see tomorrow." Events Continue Today and Thursday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 6, 2014) — Today and Thursday the campus community will have opportunities to engage with "see tomorrow." The University of Kentucky Strategic Plan.

On Tuesday, May 6, Working Group #4, "Transform the Campus, Brand and Infrastructure at UK" will host a Town Hall at 11 a.m. in the UK Athletics Auditorium in the William T. Young Library.

The "see tomorrow." Town Hall series represents opportunities for the community to learn about the Strategic Plan and to share ideas about our university’s future. The campus is encouraged to attend, ask questions and provide feedback to the Working Groups who host these events.

The "see tomorrow." Speaker Series will also continue this week with Buck Goldstein, the University Entrepreneur in Residence and a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He will present Thursday, May 8, at 9 a.m. in the Lexmark Public Room.

"An instrumental component of any strategic plan should involve taking a step back to form a broader perspective about where your organization or institution fits within a national context," said Christine Riordan, UK's provost. "We are fortunate at UK to have experts acclaimed in their fields as well as access to others across the country who can provide an in-depth examination of what is happening in higher education in America today."
