LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 31, 2025)It’s that time of year again when the brightest minds in cardiology gather for the annual T.F. Whayne Cardiovascular Symposium — and this year’s theme, “Preventive Cardiology,” couldn’t be more important. 

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, but what if medical science could stop it before it starts? That’s exactly what this year’s symposium aims to tackle.  

Join experts from the University of Kentucky Gill Heart & Vascular Institute Friday, April 11, at the Central Bank Center in downtown Lexington to learn about promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. 

This event is a chance to hear from two world-renowned international leaders in cardiology, who will be delivering keynote addresses packed with cutting-edge insights, breakthroughs and practical strategies to keep hearts healthier for longer. 

This symposium is open to a broad audience — medical professionals, researchers, students or  providers who are passionate about health and wellness. Participants will gain access to:
