UK Federal Credit Union Promotion Benefits Kentucky Children's Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 4, 2011) –  Kentucky Children’s Hospital accepted a check for $23,000 from the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union (UKFCU) thanks to a recent special promotion.

During September, the UKFCU made a pledge to donate $75 to the children's hospital for every new and refinanced car loan made.

“As UK’s Credit Union, we are always looking for ways to give back and we are so pleased that our members took the challenge and played a part in making this contribution to support Kentucky Children's Hospital,” said David Kennedy, UKFCU President/CEO.

The donation was accepted during a presentation held Dec. 21 at the hospital.

 “We appreciate UKFCU and all they do to support Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Their partnership ensures we are able to provide the best care for our patients and their families,” said Aimee Baston, Manager of Annual Giving at Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
