Doing UK’s Daily Health Screening? Now There’s an App for That
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 12, 2020) — The daily health screening completed by University of Kentucky students and employees who come to campus will now be available in an app, which provides much more flexibility for the user. The new UK Wellness Review app is now available for both Android and iOS devices.
The daily health screening is an important component in UK’s robust effort to keep the UK community healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. If students or employees indicate symptoms of illness in their daily screening, UK Health Corps will follow up with those individuals for appropriate action that may include coronavirus testing and individualized support from the Health Corps team.
Since the Fall 2020 semester began, the daily health screening has been sent via email each morning to UK community members who will be on campus, however the UK Wellness Review app provides access to the daily screening at any time in addition to the daily email. Now there will be no need to wait until an email arrives. Also, the app has a resources page that will help answer questions or provide contact information to UK Health Corps.
The app will work on any mobile device, including smartphones, iPads and tablets for both Android and iOS. More information about the daily health screening can be found by visiting http://go.uky.edu/dailyscreening.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
In 2022, UK was ranked by Forbes as one of the “Best Employers for New Grads” and named a “Diversity Champion” by INSIGHT into Diversity, a testament to our commitment to advance Kentucky and create a community of belonging for everyone. While our mission looks different in many ways than it did in 1865, the vision of service to our Commonwealth and the world remains the same. We are the University for Kentucky.
