'Rumble at the River' Event Kicks off Football Season

LEXINGTON (Aug. 31, 2009) -- The Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati UK Alumni Club and the University of Kentucky Alumni Association will host the “Rumble at the River” tailgate event prior to the Wildcats’ season opener against Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 5. The event is 9:30–11:30 a.m. at the B&B Riverboat, docked on the Ohio River near the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, in close proximity to Paul Brown Stadium. Kick-off is set for noon.

The cost is $10 for preregistered UK Alumni Association members, $15 for nonmembers and game day walk-ups. Price includes food, soft drinks and admission to the tailgate event. A cash bar will also be available.
