WUKY Carries Programming of U.S. Supreme Court Arguments on Health Care Act

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 26, 2012) ― WUKY, the University of Kentucky's NPR station, will carry NPR's special programming of highlights and discussion of the U.S. Supreme Court arguments on the constitutionality of the Affordable Health Care Act.

Starting Monday, March 26, and continuing through Wednesday March 28, the justices will  hear arguments and consider one of the most notable cases of this century. The Supreme Court has said it will release audio of the respective days' arguments, and NPR will offer one-hour wrap specials each day of the arguments.

 WUKY will broadcast highlights and discussion of these arguments each day beginning at 8 p.m. EDT.

Jennifer Ludden, NPR correspondent, will host the daily wrap specials, which will include edited highlights of the arguments before the justices. Tentative guests include legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg, health policy correspondent Julie Rovner and national political correspondent Mara Liasson.
